i wanna mod the side of my lian li pc-70, the big aluminum side just loooks so plain, so i wanna put in a window, i don't wanna buy it i wanna make it myself, but want it to look pretty professional, i also want it to be flush with the of the case, is this pretty simple to do, or rather difficult?

cutting a rectangular window isn't that hard but I suggest you practice on something else before touching the lian li... :p

as far as getting it perfectly flush, good luck. you would have to take a dremel and sand down the sides so the middle part that will actually form the window is raised above the part that will be screwed in, it would have to be raised the exact thinkness of the side panel

but as far as making it look professional, i can handle making the cuts look good, but i'm just wondering about specifically mounting the glass on there, should i use bolts, or should i go with the sealant look, which i dislike, which works better as far as looks go. and structural stability

i was wondering if you could cut the side of a case with a dremel to make a window. most people tell me that they use a jig but a dremel seems easier to handle

Yes, you can use dremels but it seems a waste of time, effort, and disks on long straight lines.

I would reccomend some kind of epoxy for attaching the window, or rivets/bolts if you like that look.

i dont mean to cut out the squre that come on all those piece of shit premods. i want to use the dremel to cut out a dragon (pretty much no straight lines there:D) then im going to use the dremel to etch out some kick ass scales and few other detalis im thinking of
