I have a question, anyone know how I can set the Virtual PC swap space to a ram drive on my win7 box?

basically I am running some applications that are written for XP that use all 3.4GB of the virtual memory allocated to the machine and I am running into drive swap. I was wondering if there is a way (or hack) to run a 3-24 GB virtual hard drive in Windows 7, that I can use as the swap file for the virtual PC.
I am working with some very large files, an need the ram and virtual ram space to have the entire file open.

Any suggestions or help?

You could use software like Dataram RAMDisk to make a 4 GB RAM drive, and place a VHD on that and move the page file to that drive.

You could make a larger RAM drive than that if needed, but not using any RAMdisk freeware of which I am aware. The commercial version of the above program will go greater than 4 GB.
