I saw some where (I can't find it and neither can search) where a user was looking for see through mirror acrylic, but it was really expensive and they found a do-it-yourself kit that was so much cheaper, anyone know where I can get some of that, and how much it would cost?

We sell some at Menards (home improvement type store, think Lowe's or Home Depot) for like $27. I'm sure any of the stores I mentioned would carry it. However... I have my doubts that it would look that good, and I'm not sure if it was what was used in that mod. Plus I think it has a lot more than what you'll need for an average window. But if you want to give it a try go for it.

Well see I have a pretty cool mod idea that includes the mirror acrylic but I don't need alot of it (1 window's side worth).

Now i know i'm going to here alot of "your wrong i've seen it done before" for this. But, window tinting doesn't like to stick to acrylic and plexi. It well get air pockets under it like piss poor tinting jobs on cars do. I mean it well look good for few months (if your lucky).

True this can be caused by the plastic gassing out usually from heat caused by direct sunlight .... nothing lasts forever.

so what DO people do for the darkened plexi side panel windows, orr the two way mirror looking type ones?
