Well it's nearing time(waiting for the new Intel quad-cores) for me to build a new rig. I've been using this 2.4GHz P4 + 6800GT rig for a while(I forget; maybe four or more years) and it's served me well, but it's showing age(sounds like a buzzsaw where it was whisper quite when I first got it) and there's no way I'm going to try playing Crysis or Bioshock on this thing.
Anyway, I've only got two cases in mind for my next build. The first being a twice7 cube from mountainmods.com and the second being a CM Stacker 830.
I REALLY like the Stacker 830 but it uses a lot of mesh which I don't like because I imagine the thing would be a dust magnet. So I was wondering would it be worth it trying to mod the 830 with windows to replace the meshes? If so, where should I start? (I've never modded a case before. Should I get a window kit or go into a hardware store and ask for a sheet of plexiglass?).
Also, are there any sites out there that sell pre-modded stackers? I'll even settle for a windowless(solid sidepanels) version if they exist.
