Hey every one, i really messed up my case panel on a botched Window mod, and wondered where i could get a new one... i have looked everywhere, but cant seem to find one that would fit.

Im not sure what case i have....but its the same one thats posted in the work logs under "O" (Thats not my case".

The specs on the panel are.....
H = 15.5
W = 16.5

Most of the panels i have seen on-line are 19 in by xx So if some one could help me out with a panel of the maker of these cases please let me know.

home depot sells plexy/acrylic for like $7 cut it like glass or time to use the dremel

got pictures?

cant you just file/fix it? and this is pretty much the right forum you were doing case modding :p

Na, i posted in genrel hardware at first. Thanks to who ever moved it.

And it cant be Filed or fixed....not thinking i cut the window to close to the edge, now it dosnt give me room to fix the window in there. I was going to use H molding, but i made the corners at a 90 deg.

I really just need a new panel ;-(

I did this once... I just went and got some sheet metal. Then I took the side panel from the other side of the case, and put that on the window side. Then I cut the sheet metal carefully and glued the sheet metal to the mobo side (since it never really has to come off). then paint the sheet metal whatever color your case is.

Hope that helped. :D

that is a very good idea. i have lots of fiberglass resion, so i will get ship sheet medel. trace out my mistace, and patch is...... thanks man, thats the bestes idea i have hurd in a while.

If you have fiberglass, why not go ahead and mold something cool into the side. Maybe make it look like a crater or volcano with the window in the middle.

Heck, why not go for a good size sheet of plexi and make that the entire panel. since your sidepannel is dead you can sacrifice it for the parts that fit into the case.

could be really cool looking...

sounds interesting, one problem....how to mount it so it stays there.
could allways put a sheet of plexy in the oven and bend it so its exactly like your original :p
