Winamp plugin for CS

I need some type of plugin fro CS:S that will let me play music and select it without minimizing and going to winamp to change music. I know there were things for cs 1.6 that did this...

but I need something to change the music in game.
 
I have found that it's better to just set hotkeys for next song, previous song, etc. on the numpad. That way, there's nothing blocking your view.

Look through the WinAmp settings, it can be done somewhere.
 
I'm using hotkeys right now but....

The problem lies in me not being able to change songs easily...

Example:

In my playlist I have Band X playing

But I want Band Y to play.

In order for me to do that I must minimize CS even though I have winamp on my 2nd monitor just so I can change the band or playlist or w/e

It get's annoying especially if you get killed in the process.
 
There is no mod, and if there was, it would be detected as a cheat. That's what happened to HLAmp.

QFT. I'm using one right now. :)

HLAmp is the only one I've heard of. Maybe just make a playlist of the songs you like to listen to in CS.

 
Why not use the built in mp3 player that comes with CS:S???

<edit> nevermind, only works in DoD:S....
 
i can change the songs from any open program using the logitech media functions. i can't exactly choose the song, but i leave it on random anyway, so when i dislike the song, i just hit the next button. works fine for me!

i just push pause when the action starts, and when i die (which naturally, isn't very often :D ) i push play again. it's really helpful for when you see two noobs running around who can't find each other.
 
when you go into console you can't move to your second screen?

They use to have a program called hlamp. I know that steam use to think it was a hack, but supposivley the company was working with the vac team. So you might want to search around for it. The only thing is I don't think your going to be able to change playlists with any program unless you minimize and do it manually.
 
When I go to console and go to my second screen, once i click on that screen anywhere it will minimize CS which sometimes takes a while to maximize again.

i hate the built in MP3 payer because the music ends each round...and face it rounds are all that long so i only hear the begining each time.


as for not imaginieing music in cs, i turn it to about 40-60% so can hear every alright but i don't care all that much in pubs
