Calling all Winamp users.

Do you use DirectSound, ASIO or WASAPI?
I've been using WASAPI and sometimes switch to ASIO. out_ASIO sometimes crashes winamp though and can't share between other applications. Wondered if there was another plugin recommendation?

That's the ASIO plugin i use from time to time, it works fine for you? My Winamp crashes sometimes when i use it, quite frustrating. I use it when i just want to listen to music only as it can't handle sound from other sources (like games etc) at the same time.
Maybe i'll re-install winamp from scratch and see if i have any luck.

As for the other solution, i'll take a look, cheers!
 
I use kernel streaming in Windows, it was less trouble than setting up ASIO. I just had to install the output component in Foobar2k and select it as output. I have done the same in Winamp before, but not with Windows 7, only with XP.
