I just switched over to Windows 8 and installed the 12.10 drivers for my tri-fire 6970 setup. In BF3, regardless of graphics settings at 1920x1200, my frame rate is around 50-55...sometimes lower sometimes higher. I noticed one of my linked cards was only running at 33% during a BF3 run but didn't check the others. On the end round screen though, frame rates shoot up to well over 150 so....wtf...anybody have a resolution for this (other than "uninstallz windoze" comments)?

It may be specific bug to windows 8.

Windows 7 and Windows 8 are basically the same when it comes to GPU drivers.

The only thing I could think of is seeing if they have updated chipset drivers for your motherboard.

You could also try running in window mode and see if that makes a difference.

Shooting in the dark.

not exactly.

Windows 7 uses WDM 1.1, windows 8 uses WDM 1.2.

have you disabled ULPS?

Hard to do when I have AMD graphics cards, lol. I ended up reverting back to Win7...having 3 6970s only putting out the power of a single 6950 was frustrating....ill switch back to Win8 in a year or so...
