Hey guys,

My SO has had occasion to use the CD Slideshow Generator PowerToy for XP in the past. We're all running Windows 7 now, and I'm looking for an easy equivalent. Sure, one could use PowerPoint, but it's a pain if you have 300 pictures.

If anyone knows of an open-source (or freeware) option, I'd appreciate it.

I didn't get back to this thread for a bit, but this looks perfect for what she needs.

However, it says it's for Windows XP. Will it run on Win7 as well?

It should. But as pointed out, the new Movie Maker make be overall better product. Photo Story 3 is a lot easier to use though.
