See how the Korean text is unable to be shown and is filled in by the boxes?
How can I fix this. I've clicked around and read the help and the Microsoft website and I can't figure it out. :/

Windows Update > Optional > Korean.

You need Windows 7 ultimate to change the language IIRC.
 
Why you may need Ultimate to change the desktop GUI language, you can still use other languages for input methods. Is that what you are trying to do OP?
