Hello,
I recently upgraded my File server to Windows 2003 R2 SP2. In the process it seems to have broken the connection with my Canon IR C6800 multifunction device. All the other dell printers seem to work fine on the server, however the Canon just shows "offline". I have updated and reinstalled drivers several times. I also gave the canon printer service admin rights to run. none of that helped.
I went ahead and installed the drivers and connected to the Canon using one of my development servers, and it seems to work fine. I just don't want to manually remap all my users (a hundred or so) to the new server for printing. Though at this time on a Friday night it seems like an option.
