I am trying to set up a raid 1 on a Windows 2K pro pc, and I am not able to get the drives to mirror. When I try to set up the RAID it doesnt work. I an trying to make it copy the main hard disk, but i am not sure how!!!!

I spent about an hour downloading updates and am thinking i might use one of my 20 gb hard drives to ghost the image.

what d you all think??? I really need help setting this RAID up.

This has to be done by either hacking Windows to allow it to even be done, or by doing something way less caustic and using a "hardware" controller to mirror your disks.

If you have your disks on a RAID controller then RTFM.

If you're doing in software (e.g. Dynamic Disks) just consider it more worth your time to drop ~$30 on even the most basic controller card for your mirrored array.
