A friend of mine has a win2k issue. It gets to the point where the white bar across the bottom of the screen finishes, then it goes to the win2k loading screen with the blue bar and it just freezes there. He said that he has tried doing a recovery on it, last known good configuration, safe mode. None of it will work. I haven't had a chance to go look at it yet, but I figured I would see if anyone else had a similar problem before and if they know of something I should check first. He said he hasn't changed anything before this happened.. .no new software of anything. He shut it down one night before going to bed, then when he turned it on the next morning, just freezes. Thanks for any tips/suggestions.
