Hey guys
i recently ran into this problem and im out of ideas as to what is wrong.
i was previously running XP SP2 with no problems, then i decided to try vista, everything was good but i decided to revert back to XP due to lack of driver support.
However on my new reformat, my computer will randomly pause for a couple of seconds where i cant click or move the mouse or anything. When i open the activity monitor, the cpu usage freezes during that time too...but its not at 100%. and when i look at my hdd activitiy light its not on till it unfreezes. If i have music on in the background, it continues playing so its not like a complete pause.
any ideas? i thought it was my AMD driver but im installing exactly like how i did the first time so that cant be it.
