Been playing around a little.

Sadly I think everyone will hate the new UI. It frustrated me at first until I learned that the key to it was, well, the much maligned and never used by me before on purpose, windows key.

I still wouldn't mind a cheat sheet, at least in the beginning, on how to quickly bring up things like the control panel, etc.

Question:

I decided to run the built in windows benchmark that I dont really trust but felt it might give me some interesting numbers anyways. :)

Win 7, (REAL OS)

Processor: 7.3 (ya ya, I know not that good, will get an upgrade eventually)
Memory: 7.3
Graphics: 7.9 (max score)
Gaming Graphics: 7.9
Disk: 5.9

Win 8, (Virtual OS)
Processor: 7.3
Memory: 7.3
Graphics: 2.4 (ouchie)
Gaming Graphics: 4.0 (ow)
Disk: 6.4 (EH?)

I have at times set up win 95/98 and even worked at getting a viable Dos 6.22 environment going in both MS and Oracle's products. The wall I always seem to run into is the video sub system. Anyone have thoughts on how to further enhance it?

I found GOG.Com and ended up rebuying some of my old favorites since they have many of them working and stable in "Dosbox."

They do not however have everything.
