Would like to think most of what you get in event viewer is completely harmless but I remember many years ago seeing this particular issue and eventually my user profile ended up being corrupted. (Win 98 and even Vista had the issue many moons ago)

Is anybody running Windows 8 pro experiencing any of these in event viewer?

Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards.

And underneath it says Source = User Profile Service

This is a fairly new install and I only have the most basic of programs installed so far.

All the newest drivers from relevant sites, Origin, Steam are on here.

It's starting to bug me now. Really don't want to go back to Windows 7 (Where this did not happen unless I rebooted with lots of things open)

Thanks

Getting these warnings too on a perfectly working Windows 8 Pro x64 installation.
From what I read on technet and other forums Microsoft said that warning can be ignored, its by design and just means one program has not unloaded the registry file when you log out, shutdown or restart the system. I could be wrong though but everything is working perfect here with Windows 8 and this is the only warning I ever get in Event Viewer.

Kind regards
