Ok so I have been having very random BSOD's for the past few weeks. They started without any cnage of hardware or other physical cystem changes.

Sometimes in the middle of heavy gaming somtimes while browsing the internet it occurs. I originaly thought it was my RAM so i have been switching out pieces and not the crashes have become full reboot crashes no blue screen.

here is the WIndows has recovered froma unexpected shutdown info

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA8004A3E8F8
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

I'm currently d/ling debugging tools so i can opena nd post the .dmp file.

I'm at a loss for whats going on i did manage to force the crash twice in a row running handbrake encoding a file. I was watching resource monitor only had 2 hard faults ont he memory max at any time and only under the handbrake process.

makes me think RAM but ive switched out my sticks into completely seperate sets and both crash.

I have run memtest over night came back clean with all ram installed

My CPU is a simple multi overclock been this way for about a year since i first purchased it.

appreciate any help

Are you overclocking?

The last bugcheck is a creative issue. Try disabling hardware acceleration of OpenAL.

i was had my multi on my black edition from 15 to 18 been that way since last year.. never crashed before.. i backed it down to 16 and today i have not had any crashes as of yet.. Will be rather annoyed with myself if this entire time my bluescreens were from my simple multi OC.

that said why would the processor start to suddenly fail after runnign great for so long.

strange how the crashes went from simple blues screens to full blown reboots.. maybe needed to up the power.

Just curious.. what's your vcore set to? I'm running an unlocked 720 BE, and increasing that value added much stability to my OC. Of course, if you do change it, do your research as you don't want to set it too high.

Spring is here, temperatures are up. The randomness of your crashes indicated OC issues.

Because processors don't last forever and overclocking dramatically reduces their usable life?
