Win 7 rebooting during startup

My Win 7 machine locked up on me yesterday, frozen screen I couldn't do anything but hit reset. It still posts, but a second or 2 after Loading Windows comes up, the machine resets. I tried using a recovery disk and the original Windows 7 disk and just before they load up their mini version of windows, the machine resets as well.

I've tried swapping memory sticks in and out have the same problem.

I was able to get Hirens to load though, so I am hella confused.

Anyone have any ideas?

u overclock? Could be your graphics card, maybe its not positioned right.
