Hi guys, i had a bit of trouble with Win 7 RC1 recently

Basically, I installed it, everything was fine, I rebooted my PC a few times etc then left it overnight. In the morning I turned it off to move the desk, then turned it back on and it bluescreened on boot up. I checked all the cables/hardware etc was ok, I did various system restore options but nothing fixed it. I made a backup of my files in the command prompt on the vista DVD and reinstalled vista .... and it's fine!

Anyone else had similar issues

I would have tried reinstalling Win7 and then would have ran some stress tests. You might have some faulty RAM or possible file corruption.

I ran a lot of tests in Vista a week or two ago when I was having some problems, but it was just a dodgy overclock that I sorted that out by tweaking some voltages a bit, so i dont think its a hardware problem.

It might be a Win7 device driver that caused it. I'd reinstall it and then write down the error if it does it again. At least this way you can rule out faulty hardware.
