Hi, First post here, but anyways...I was wondering if these specs would work all together, so I wouldnt buy it and be "OMG it doesnt work!" The reason I put the model and Item numbers is just to make it easier to find, I guess. Also if you see if I am forgetting apart plz post it.

I agree with Bbq. I'd also suggest the xclio stablepower, corsair 520w, or seasonic s12 550w.

Question: why the p5w dh dlx with an 8800gtx? why not the p5n32-e sli (nF 680i SLI chipset as opposed to a crossfire chipset)?

Ok will thxs...

@enginurd

I didnt notice it was crossfire could of swore it said SLi ready....but I will change that to..

I would go 600W or higher with the 8800GTX it supposedly draws alot of power.

Look at the Corsair 620W PSU. It is currently one of the best on the market.

If that is to much $$, go with the Aerocool ZeroDBA 620W.

But definitely do some reasearch on PSU's. You dont want a PSU with a bad ripple, that could shorten the life of your NEW hardware.

The 8800GTX, alone, doesnt need 600W. Just make sure there is enough amperage on the +12V rail(s). According to PNY's specs:
A minimum 400W system power supply (with 12V current rating of 30A)
Theres some simple math involved to figure out if the psu is good enough, so here's a good page with instructions: http://psu.thetruck.net/

Let us know the PSU you want to go with, and we can double check those #s if they concern you.
