Will this work?

Honda CR per chance?? Looks like the ones we use on the sidecar...

Anyhoo, I digress... as long as you're using the correct ratio of anticorrosive additive, alu and copper exist happily alongside each other. Common: Zerex, WaterWetter, PurpleIce, HydrX. Zerex is the most notable - 95% distilled water, 5% zerex. Completely flush and replenish with fresh coolant every 12months MAX.

Why are the pumps so cheap?

No guaranteed MTBF (meantime between failures) - the popular more expensive PC Watercooling pumps from Laing all feature a 50,000hr MTBF from the manufacturer.

Yeah, you'll need a good mix of anti-corrosive chemical : water...

In the area of at least 10% antifreeze, or 4% concentrated additive (if you can find it, I can't!)

Should be OK otherwise!

I would switch out your CPU block for something like the TDX or Apogee. While the Maze4 isn't bad it's just a bit old now and you would most likely get better performance out of the newer blocks.

i agree with the switch to the TDX .. apogee is not my favorite

although if you going on the cheap then it's hard to beat the maze4 cpu ... probably won't see more the 2-3 difference between the maze4 gpu and tdx ESPECIALLY if you use an ihs..

Personally, I wouldn't skimp on the pump. However, do a search for the Danner Mag 3.
Also look in the FS forum for a used Laing/Swiftech MCP655. Voyeurmods is also selling the 655 pretty cheap, but I haven't heard too many good experiences when ordering from them.
