I currently have 2 sticks of CMX512-2700C2 Corsair XMS ram, running dual channel right now, cant really tell a difference, well, I just did a trade for a stick of CMX512-2700C2PT, and I am wondering if it will work on since the timings are exactly the same....

1. Will 3 sticks OF exact model run in dual channel

2. I know I cant run dual channel with a different stick, but will it work ok with the other sticks?
 
From what I gather with AMD you can run 3 sticks and have 2 running dual channel and one not. On Intel if you have 3 sticks they won't run dual channel...They have to be in pairs. Correct me if I am wrong.
 
well, im more worried about if they will work together just in regular mode, if it runs in dual channel then ok, but dual channel is not important to me because I understand dual channel only increases performance like 3% on amd systems, anywhoo, guys help me out, please?
