Im thinking about building a File/Vent server with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856119013
I have a Vista SP2 64 bit not being used and im going to put in a gig of ram(i dont want to spend $45 on 2 gigs). I dont need a cd drive because im going to install off of a 4 gig usb. and i plan on putting in a WD SATA 2.0 1.0TB drive that is sitting in my main rig.

Only thing I don't like is lack of Gb LAN. Good value on that setup.

How much CPU power does a Vent server need?

I had one of the single core Atom chips in a netbook and it would lag on websites with flash... So if the Vent server needs any real cpu power it could cause issues.

Thanks for pointing out that it wasnt set up for Gb Lan, i think ill go with this
