Will this run a 780?

It can probably run 3 of them with an OCd CPU and have some room to spare.

that will run 3 of them with heavily overclocked everything lol Probably even 3 titans.

What this man said.

If anything, that psu is total overkill for that gpu :p. You should be fine.

1000 watts is ridiculous for almost any situation, unless you're running like 4 GTX 480s or Radeon 4870X2s.

I'm running two overclocked GTX 480's on a 1000 PSU.

Of course it will run a single GTX 780. That's silly.

but still...what the hell...worring about power while having a 1000psu..I have a 1200w psu and it doesn't even get warm

Could have problems with 2 actually. Many people had problems with 2 580s on that PSU. As it had issues being dual 12v rail. Its basically 2 500 watt PSU together. No way it would run 3 tho. I believe corsair released some sort of schematic of how to wire things up with the hx1000. CPU on 1 12v rail and GPU on the other you'll be very fine with 1 GPU. Now an hx1050 on the other hand could do 3 of these. Ran 3 heavily over clocked 470s on mine.

Thats strange, practically two 500W PSUs put together? Doesn't seem like its a stable built thing.

OK OK, Thank You everyone.
I didnt realize it was that good of a PSU.

Now if I can just snag an available card

Exactly which is why it has to be wired correctly. Otherwise you end up with 2 power hungry video cards on 1 12 volt rail... Its really f'd up... hence why they updated it to the hx1050 (single rail).
