I was going to get the Antec truepower trio 650, but ive heard they arent so great...the problem is im limited to ~$100 (the antec is $90 for me)

will the corsair do the job? the newegg calc said i needed like 640w lol

help!

I think it could work, but a little close to call for certain I think. And probably not much head room. Efficiency tends to drop if you run the PSU too close to capacity. I'd probably try for at least a 600 watt.

I think the Antec Truepower 650 should be okay. Granted, it isn't all that great and not on the same level as the Corsair HX, but jonnyguru.com called it a great budget PSU.

The 520hx is more then enough for that system, you wouldn't be running it close to 100%.

How does the 650TX compare to the 620HX?

The like $12 cheaper at ClubIT...

The TX does not have modular cables. That's pretty much it.
