Will this case work with an IDE Hard Drive?

I want to order this case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16856101483 but the reviews say it only comes with 1 IDE connector. That connector has to be used by the DVD Drive. One of the reviewers said that he bought a new IDE cable that had 2 connectors and it worked, but if I did that then I would have to undo all of the pre-done wire cleanup. If you know, could you please tell me how difficult it would be to re-clean that stuff up.

So I'm left with a few options:

1. Get the IDE connector with more connectors and re-do the wiring
2. Get an IDE to Sata converter and use that on the disc drive, while using the actual IDE cable for the HDD (or the other way around, does using it for the disc drive work?)

I would like to know if those converters are any good. I hardly ever use the dvd drive so if they suck, but atleast work, it's not a big deal. I really don't want to undo all that wiring but will if I have to. Please help me decide what I should do, and if it's option #2, which converter is the best/most affordable. Thanks.

(By the way I'm gonna use this computer mainly for watching videos and recording TV. The only gaming I'll do on it is emulating NES through N64)

Not trying to be a ass but if you cant figure out how to change a ide cable and put on a couple of zip ties, go buy a dell. It's not hard a retarded monkey could do it.

It's not that simple with this case. If you look at the pics you'll see what I'm talkin about. (And thank you for not being an ass.)

It will work with two IDE devices (except you might need to use another cable, probably provided with the MOBO you intend to use).

And Rufus P Tumbeltin IV... you have been an expert at building PCs for how many days?

It is that simple, i have worked on one before. Just about everything bundled togther with those twisty plastic thigs with the balls on the end or plastic clips. Just slide the old wire out and put the new one in. Your making a big deal out of nothing. If that is too hard for you then just unplug it and plug the new one in and do this.

Brilliant! Thank you! (But have some sympathy for your inferiors, we're not all perfect like you.)

This is a forum for people of all levels of expertise. I'm sure that even you, your honour, have had noob questions before (especially when you started out). He was asking a legitimate question. Your 2nd answer was much more helpful, so please abstain from the example you set in your first post.

I said he should go buy a dell, because if he cant figure out how to do somthing as simple as change out a ide cable trying to build a computer might be a bad idea. Too many people waste there money and end up frying parts because they dont know what they are doing. Sorry if it came off wrong.

For the record, I've built 3 computers before, I know what I'm doing. I was not asking how to change an IDE cable, I was inquiring about how hard it would be to re-clean it up like they did, and whether or not the other solution would work. From now on, if you want to get a point across, try not calling people retarded monkies.

I didn't call you a retarded monkey, I said that was how hard it was to change a ide cable and zip tie it up. Go back and read it. You asked how hard and i told you, come on how hard is it really.
