Will this build work?

OKAY, here's the final build. I chose components based on my budget ($1200), which is why I'm not buying a corsair psu. All components bought from the egg, so it all comes from the same place. I do not intend to overclock heavily (2.6-2.8ghz max) to keep temps cool.

Case - Apevia X-Qpack (cheaper than the sg-01, and it has a 120mm fan. Anandtech reviewed both cases and it seemed that the X-Qpack was better, despite the chintzy-ness of its design.)
PSU - Thermaltake 450watt modular OR Enermax Liberty 400w (I need suggestions on this aspect. The thermaltake is relatively new, and therefore of unverifiable quality, but the liberty series is quite old.)
Mobo - GIGABYTE GA-G33M-DS2R (Ssimply the best mATX 775 board.)
CPU - E6550
Cooler - Zalman 7700
GPU - 8800GTS 320mb
RAM - Kingston 2x1gb ddr2 800 cas 5

Anyone see any blatant flaws/incompatibilities with this build? I'm open to suggestions for PSU's other than the two listed, but I am not spending more than $90 on a PSU. Please, please, please give me advice, this is my first sff build and I'd like it to be a pleasurable experience. I won't be ordering this for at least a week so feel free to give some pointers or criticisms of my choices.

You dont mention which cpu you'll be putting in it but it'll be reasonably cool by SFF standards if using dualcore. If you go quad though that may change. Seems to be a controversy wether quad is too much for SFF boxes or not. If stock I'd say yes. If wanting to OC a quad then I'd say look for a small atx box for now. Once the quads start getting out in masses I think we'll see SFF boxes redesigned to cool them.

I dont think you'll have any trouble. Double check on that 7700 fitting in that SG01 case though. I think it fits but I'm not sure.

Yeah I checked the will it fit chart and also read reviews that list the physical dimensions of the cooler and the amount of clearance the sg01 leaves for aftermarket coolers. My primary concern is the cooler hitting the northbridge heatsink on the mobo, but i think it should be fine.

Don't get a Thermaltake PSU, get a Corsair 520HX or an Antec NeoHE 500 or 550. I Don't think Thermaltake PSU's are that great, and that one you picked looks like it's gonna be bigger and give you less room to work with.

Reviews indicate high failure rates on the NeoHEs, and I don't want to spend over $90 on a PSU.

ZZF has the Corsair 520HX for $95 after rebate (free shipping too) if you increase your budget a little bit.

Alright I'll use the Corsair. Anyone know of a better cpu cooler that will fit than the zalman 7700 I chose?

How many HDDs will you be using?

If you're using just 1 HDD, you can remove the HDD support brace of the Apevia & it'll enable you to fit those monstrous HSFs. :D
You can always drop in a Zalman 9500 or <insert personal perference here> later on if you feel like it.

In the meantime, a stock cooler will do just fine.

Does that really add up to $1200? It doesn't look like it's worth $1200. Here's a good $1200 build:

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811133035 Thermaltake Lanbox - $130

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128053 Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R $133

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814130082 EVGA 8800GTS 320MB $280, $260 AR

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817139001 Corsair 520HX $125, $115 AR

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819115029 Intel E6750 $220

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820146565 Crucial Ballistix DDR-800 $110, $80 AR

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16822136143 WD 500GB SATA2 $135

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16827151141 Samsung SH183L SATA DVD burner - $37

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16835118115 Zalman CNPS-7700 - $40

Total: $1210 before shipping and handling. Can't remember if Newegg charges tax or not, never bought from them.

Notice how I put much better parts in my list (no offense lol) for the same $1200 you mentioned. Now obviously if you need to be no more than $1200, you can cut back on some of the parts, like the 500GB HDD, the Lanbox, and the E6750.

EDIT: Ok, whoops, didn't see you already bought all the parts..but yea for $1200 I think you could have done a bit better.

I haven't yet bought the parts, and its 1200 after buying a $200 19 lcd monitor. The actual system is only $1000. I havent yet ordered it.

if you are not overclocking dont buy the xtra HSF. stock will be fine.

If you want a good HSF there are better ones then the choice listed in the build.

as far as everything else. looks pretty descent.
