hey guys,
i just moved into a new apt. i think the place has bad electrical wiring because the lights will occasionally dim out for about half a second and then go back to normal.

im afraid my computer stuff will be damaged by these "dimmings", so i've been looking to buy a UPS or line conditioner. is AVR the main thing that i should be looking for? i dont really need a UPS cus i dont do important stuff on my computer anyway. i just want to provide "cleaner" electricity to my electronics.

will that product fix my problem? its a LINE-R 600VA AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR - LE600I.

any other recommendations to solve my problem?

thanks in advanace!

I have one of the APC Line-R 600, mine is an older version of the one you linked to. It works well.
But a battery backup w/AVR built in is the best way to go. Don't get a cheap one, it's just like the power supply in your PC. The cost of a quality unit is worth every penny.
