does anyone know if 2 x 4gb sticks of corsair dominator gt ram will squeeze under a noctua nh-c14 w/ out the bottom fan on an asus maximus iv gene mobo?

noctua says there is 65 mm of clearance w/ out the bottom fan / corsair says the ram sticks w/ cooling fins are 54 mm tall... that's about 11 mm of clearance between the two!

on paper they should fit but i was wondering if anyone knows for sure? have you seen somewhere that proves they are compatible? do you have this setup or something similar? any help or input would be appreciated.

I don't know anything about these specific models for sure, but 11mm isn't that small.

It's 1.1cm, or almost a half an inch.

if you trust their numbers, this should not be an issue at all

No, it won't fit. My Ripjaws X modules are 40mm tall and the lower fan of my C14 barely (and I mean barely) clears. Get Corsair LP's or RipjawsX. Or else say bye-bye to the lower fan.
