This weekend I am upgrading my machine from Sandy Bridge to skylake with an i7 6700K. I currently am using the original H100 (not the i, or the v2). Will this still work with LGA1151 and do you think it's sufficient enough for the 6700K or should I look to upgrade to a newer AIO?

I'm using the Corsiar 650D case, so I am limited to anything that will fit in that case, up top.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Mounting wise, 1151 hasn't changed at all in a few generations so you'll be fine. If it fits 11(56/55/50) it'll fit 1151.

It looks like it should fit in the top of that case with no problems! Good luck!

Thanks everyone. It did in fact work. However, in the process of doing a group build, I fell in love with the Fractal R5 and the cleanliness of cable management in that case. With that said, I also liked the way the H100i v2 connected for power and fans so needless to say, I upgraded for cable management sake!
