The answers I found on the net were from 2 years ago and want to know if anything change since then.

I have a 3-way SLI bridge that came with my motherboard and I want to go Crossfire with it if possible.

My motherboard supports sli and crossfire.

Is it possible or would I need a new xfire bridge?

No, you need xfire bridge and you'd need two of them for pair of ati card

No, one is good enough. Many cards don't even have more than one crossfire connector. The cards that have 2 are so that you can run 3 or 4 cards in crossfire.

Crossfire and SLI bridges are not compatible.
