The topic pretty much says it all. When is some of this new technology going to hit the raptors, I plan on purchasing one when summer rolls around. Discuss what you like about the raptor and what you'd like to see come from it in the future.
 
Someday they might, but it will probably require WD to come up with a new set of controller boards for the series because raptors don't run native SATA they run it bridge.

My personal, opinioated, guess would be that the next gen of raptors will but you won't see them for a while yet probably. Could be wrong though.
