Hey Fellas. I'm planning on buying the Cooler Master WaveMaster (Black) soon and I had heard some issues about it with how it cools. Mostly on how it it only has 2 internal fans for the HD's and 1 external for exhaust. Anyone care to elaborate on this issue or any other?

Besides that, I was thinking of adding some fans on to the side of the case. I know I can get a dremmel tool and make my own and all, but, I've never done it before. And I'm not willing to experiment on a $150 case. I was wondering if this was a good idea to begin (with this case) or not, and if it is, who would be willing to help me out with it? Is there a company who can do it for me or somewhere I can go to get it done? Or an individual with experience who can mod it for me? How much does a company charge?

I figured you guys would know, [H]ard knows all.

Any input would help.

Thanks

Im not aware of companies you can ship panels too, nor places that have premodded panels themselves. THe mostly figure people do it themselves. Folks who don't wanna do any modding usually buy the lame premodded cases for a helluva markup price

The stock cooling on the case is very good. It also has a top blowhole optional to keep hot air from pocketing up top. The twin intakes will move more then enough air to keep airflow. You can alway add high speed panflo or vantec fans if you need more.

The rear exhaust is usually paired with a PSU that has dual fans that exhaust hot air out of the case as well. If you really needed the extra airflow, then you could do a side panel fan.

Im more then willing to do the job for you if you want but the shipping for something like that is gonna get pricey. I use a dremel/jigsaw combo for my hole cutting.

Blindviper: I live in Hayward, CA.

Or for those of you who don't know the city:
San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay, though).

Mechwarrior: Thanks for the tip

Icewindius: Yea, this IS something I would want to do myself, but I'm just too scared that I'll fuck it up, then I have to buy another side panel. I don't want to LEARN off this case, know what I mean? And I don't really care for something pre-modded either.

Wow thanks for the aeronautical info. That helps me a lot. I'll see how it runs without a side panel fan, then determine if I should get some help doing it.

Thanks guys for the always quick responses. [H]ard Forum rocks.
