Will not boot after power loss

Hi Guys,

So I put my computer into sleep mode, but that didn't hibernate as I had expected so I decided to flip the switch on my power strip. came back 15 mins later and plugged everything back in and now my computer won't boot.

The mobo is an ASUS mobo with internal boot buttons (Power and Reset) which are being lit when the PSU is plugged in, but neither those buttons or the power button will start the computer.

If anything is dead it is either the mobo or the PSU, but those lights are telling me otherwise....

Any suggestions how to fix this?
 
Ok so just as I post this it turns on. (after about 2 hrs of not)

I think I somehow reset something. Sleeping it was the issue. Dunno how it was solved.

First off, never just "flip the switch on the power strip" with the PC on. That's a good way to fuck your day up. It can mess with windows (primarily shut down commands it must execute) and possibly some hardware.

You might have just needed to reset your CMOS.
