My current rig is a few years old, and my current video card is a GTX 570 with 1gb of mem.

I was thinking with the recent price cuts of getting at GTX 770. I'd like to be able to play BF4 and some newer games. Will my current system bottleneck performance to the point that it's not worth it?

Thanks

EDIT: PC SPECS IN SIG

I don't think your system would bottleneck any GPU available on the market.

That is true, probably wont really bottleneck GPUs for the next 4 years. PCI Express 2.0 is going to be fine for a while,

great news to hear. Can I say I love you guys? been on this forum for over a decade and always get great answers. Thanks

Windows 8 showed that overclocking the cpu in BF 4 really did notting to help much.. windows 7 it would matter more because both are running different API.
