Will my PSU handle SLI...

From the PSU specs:

Quad PCI-E Connectors
With four 6+2-pin PCI-E connectors, the Corsair CMPSU-650HX is ideal for building up a SLI or CrossFire gaming system.

Yes, it will be fine. 650w is plenty for 670 SLI as long as the PSU has the appropriate connectors, which yours does.

shouldn't be an issue and nice find on that overclock.net thread ill have to give it a go see how accurate it is.

It's pretty similar.
PSU calculators are hamstrung by the fact that one 650w PSU is very different from another 650w PSU.
For instance a 650w PSU that uses DC-DC regulation for 5v/3.3v will be able to cough up 640w or more of 12v.
A group regulated 650w will on average be able to cough up 530-580w of 12v.
Considering that the vast majority of the load in a modern computer is 12v, this is very important.
The calculators have to assume the worst, not only that the PSU will be rated low on 12v but also that it may not be able to do its rated 12v load in the first place!

The extreme.outervision is one of the best, but it still over estimates.
