I'm looking at building a shuttle box for testing purposes. Will redhat linux 8/9 work fine on one of these? Inclusive of the network/video/etc?

Thanks for all help in advance :)

Nik.

There are TONS of different shuttle systems, each with different chipsets on their motherboards. So to answer your question, yes/no/maybe.

You shouldnt worry about the version of linux. just your system Kernel. with redhat it should be fairly easy to get the system. but yeah it should work fine.

for just about all purposes the shuttle boxes are fully linux (kernel wise) compatible. how well redhat 8/9 or fedora core 1/2-test2 works i've no clue, altho i'd assume it's pretty good. if it's not on the default redhat cd, with some basic linux knowledge it would be easy to get the support
