will i need cooling for this setup?

My current setup is in my signature, but I'm going to be replacing it. Newegg will be shipping my goods this week. :)
Case: Corsair 550D Obsidian
new board: MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming LGA 1155 Intel Z77
new cpu: Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz
(new memory too, but it's not relevant to the question)

I'm not going to overclock, but I am wonder whether heat is going to be an issue or will I be fine with the stock intel cpu fan/heat-sink?

If not, will the ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro be alright? Newegg's website shows that it's compatible with LGA 1155. Is that accurate?

Also, if I wanted to try my hand at water cooling? (for the sake of keeping my rig quiet) what would you guys recommend? Which water coolers would work well with the Obsidian 550D?

I feel that the stock cooler from Intel is barely adequate even at stock clocks. Do yourself a favor and at least get an aftermarket cooler like the 212 evo. Its inexpensive, yet quieter than the Intel cooler and will give you much cooler temps. I'm talking 20 to 30 degrees Celsius here.
 
yeah you will need cooling for that Rig, specially if are for gaming.. the stock cooler of intel barely handle the i5, for i7 you will be constant reaching the 85-90C wich its really not good for the life of your chip even at stock.. agree with bud above and the Cooler Master hyper 212+ or 212Evo.

do not think at water cooling as a quiet option until you want to speend a reasonable amount of money in a good kit with some GT AP-15s.. the hyper 212 its cheap and hell quiet i have in some of my house machines h100i, h80.. and for a time my first h100i was broken i bought a hyper 212 the cooling performance at stock was nearly the same but the hyper212 was theoretically Silent.
 
If you're not overclocking, no need to spend on the cooler.

The stock Intel cooler *does* get a little noisy when you start stressing the CPU, but unless this is an issue, then it's fine.

The 550D should also help dampen the sound from the CPU.

The stock Intel HSF was designed to adequately cool the CPU under stock clocks/voltage. As long as you're doing exactly that, then there's no problem.
 
If it was me and I was spending ~$300 on a CPU I would get a basic decent air cooler regardless of OCing or not. The only rig I've used a stock cooler on was my purpose-built HTPC with an i3. It gets so little use that I never hear it and I don't think its seen any higher than like 40c.

This, the stock hs/f will work, if only just, if it were me I'd invest into a good noctua heatsink as they are always updating their mounting hardware even for their older hs/f's so when you upgrade you just need to buy a new mounting kit instead of a new hs/f.

noctua's cost a pretty penny though, so if you just want your pc to work and not die from heat, the stock hs/f will work just fine, but I would keep a pretty strict dusting routine on it so it doesn't start overheating.
 
Thank you for the advice/tips guys. it sounds like the CM evo212 is the way to go. i'll use the arctic freezer 7 pro until the evo 212 comes in.
