Last month I built a nice PC on a 785TDM-EVO from ASUS, with 4gb of ram, hdd 250gb, 1optical, Antec EA-430D 430watts, and im running W7 64bits, with a Phenom II X2 545.

The question is would i'll be cpu limited if i buy a radeon 5770 or 5750?? and if the powersupply will hold on??

I think it will since the cards are very power efficient and at load they consume less than 108w, but they still recommend 450watts PSU.

I plan to play some games like batman and re5, and some less demanding like the orange box (i can play it over and over again lol)

If you play alot of Orange Box stuff...you'll be fine! Oh yah... you'll want to get a better power supply. Start doing your homework. 12v rails need to be more stouter!

We really have no idea because you didn't mention what resolution your monitor is.

The Phenom II will be more than enough to get the most out of the 5700 series. Since you're pushing the limit on your PSU, I would go with the 5750, which seems to be enough for sub 1080 gaming, if you can handle lower levels of AA/AF.

hey yeah i forgot, to tell ill be playing at 1680x1050

The 12V1 and 12V2 rails give 17A and 16A (thats from the spec of the PSU), though i dont know which is for the CPU and which is for the PCIE, Anyways, we are talking about 192 Watts of minimum Maximum power drown. From 108 watts of the 5770, Thats why I think that the PSU will hold on

Ohh i didnt see your post majeztik, so basically I have 192 watts for the Mobo, and GFX.

That would be, 4gb ram, 1 wifi card, the mobo itself, and the HD5770, at max power I will have left 192-108 =84 watts for everything else.

PSU will be fine, it's an earthwatt. They aren't the greatest, but they are reliable.
