Will [H] get a review sample???

I'm just curious,

With all of the friction between [H] and nVidia, does anyone here think that [H] will even get a review sample of NV40? or will they have to wait and review a retail card???

My bet is the latter, but, I have been suprised before. Can Brent and the gang even say? I guess if they respond here, chances are they are no longer on the "prefered" list. Silence will probably mean an 'NDA' is in effect...

well i'm sure that they will. simply because ocp has a rather large loyal following. so if they'd stand to lose at least a few customers if nvidia snups ocp.

I dont know why NVIDIA keep giving them cards as the allways make them look bad..

Bot that is OCP's fault or anythignnb, there jsut reviewing there cards, just like every other site...more NVIDIAs fault for makign the card.

kid keep me up until 3:30 AM on Wednesday morning , then I got up at 5:30 to go to work, got off work at 3:30, took a 30 min nap, played with my daughter (7 weeks old) until about 6:30, ate dinner then went to hockey rink to play a Pick-up game with some buddies….played until about midnight came home went to bed by 1:00, got up went to work at 5:30….and here I am still at work…. means you've forgotten me..... We used to go back n forth on hear about yoru amazing Ti4600 and 2.5ghz system. I see how you are so neener neener neener. I had converted to Intel after countless bad bartons, now i'm going mobile.

if the card is really what they say it is OCP will be one of the first to get one.... they will want to show it off, if the card is another dud they wont want anyone to know for as long as they can

nothing big, the [H] tried to help Nvidia along about getting "TRUE" Trilinear option back in the drivers. Nvidia kept promising [H] that it was going to be in the next driver revision. And it never was and still isn't.

Pretty much they were blowing smoke up the [H]'s ass.

My thoughts were that they were doing it because they knew that full trilinear would really bring the performance down. So they wanted their cake and eat it too.

This is the best that I recall, if it's not wanted to be posted, feel free to delete.

thank you very much sir, im sure alot of people overlooked my post, but thanks for clearing this up for me, I am sure nvidia is waiting for there new release in video cards to unveal the best, just my 2 cents
