Will getting errors in ATI Tool hurt the card?

I have a 9800 Pro flashed to XT with a VGA Silencer V2 w/ AS5 and OCZ Ramsinks. I get no artifacts in games but when I scan for errors with ATI Tool I get some after the card heats up for a few minutes. It's clocked at XT speeds. I know it's running very hot because you can't keep your fingers on the VGA Silencer for long, it's that hot. Could this damage the card? If so I guess I'll just flash back to 9800 Pro.
