I just need to build a low cost server for FTP/Web (low volume), and some other very minor services that will sit at a business I have permission to use bandwidth at for testing stuff out.
I was looking at the Atom D525, E-350, but then I came across the FX4100, low end AMD but does it support unbuffered ECC? I know some of the basic AMD mobo's will allow it but I think the CPU has to support it also.
Can anyone confirm this? And also what do you guys feel about it's performance/price ratio?
I do not necessarily care about power usage as it will NEVER hit 100% with the lights loads I will give it.
Thanks!
