Ok, I have a PSU in my mATX case, except in many respects it seems to be ATX. The usual ATX size is 5.9"W x 3.25"H x 5.6"L.
My PSU is about 5.5"W x 3.4"H x 6"L. The height and length of my PSU seems BIGGER than a normal PSU, yet its in an mATX case. The width is a little shorter than normal, but it appears I have some extra room for one with longer width. Is this going to work? I would tend to think so, but I'd like to hear some expert opinion. Thanks guys.

My original 250W psu wont work well for a p4 w/ hyperthreading, a sound card, a video card, and two sticks of ram, right?

lol... the only reason i clicked on this thread was to comment on caps, but then i realized it was okay.

It might fit, you'll have to try it to be sure as you'll have to worry about clearance.

I have an inwin v500 matx case that came with a 180w ps and I was able to replace it with a 350w antec. The only issue was clearance, there is less than a half inch between the back of the optical drives and the PS so the cables are a tight fit, other than that no probs.
