My current video card is a XFX HD-677X-ZNFC Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5. I dont play any games, the only thing I do is play large 1080p movies, usually ripped down to around 30-40 GB or so. I play them over a 55 inch 1080p LCD TV. What Id like to know is if Id notice anything upgrading to a better card?

Thanks for any input.
 
No, far weaker cards will render 1080 video just fine.
