Will adding another 5870 bottleneck?

I'm running an x6 1055t at 3.8ghz and I don't really want to upgrade my motherboard just yet. I plan on using this thing until I decide if I want bulldozer or Ivy. I think i'll probably need another power supply but we'll see.

You probably wouldn't get the absolute max with a X6, but it will be a definite upgrade in performance. If you can find a 5870 for cheap enough, it should work out very well.

Folks recommend a 750-watt 80+ PSU for Crossfire of those video cards. More, if you plan to overclock.

If you're gaming with all three of those monitors at once, then you can get a substantial boost from an additional card. If you're using one monitor at 1920x1080, though, you won't see much of a difference.

Unless you're experiencing slowdowns and have to scale back visual effects, I'd recommend waiting until Bulldozer arrives and seeing what your options are.

Looking at your sig, your computer is like my computer's big brother.

You should be fine. You might see a little loss in performance, but honestly, the gains would be good enough to merit the 2nd card.
