Will AC5 make that much of a difference on stock cooler?

If I apply AC5 to my stock x1900xt cooler will it make a significant difference?

I got a few (like 5*c) degrees on a CPU stock heatsink. So it will most likely be an improvement. Can't guarantee a big one though.

5 degrees is significant if you're overclocking.
