Will a R9 295X2 fit a Corsair 250D?

I know that the dimension of the 295 is about 12 inches, and that the clearance room for the Corsair 250D is exactly 12 inches. So my question is has anyone tried fitting the 295 on the Corsair 250D? Will it fit?
