I can't really tell by these pics, but it looks like a big video card (6800) would hit the northbridge heatsink. Just asking others opinions or if they have experience with the board just how close the sink cuts it.

Mobo pic is here

the 6800 GT / ultra etc. will fit. that is a fact. my northbridge is in the same position. the heatsink and whatnot are much further up by the PCI slots.

that heatsink looks like its the same height as the PCI slots so shouldnt be a problem

Looking from the top down it does seem like it could be a problem.

But I think it also depends how high that heatsink is. From one of the pics it doesnt look higher than the AGP/PCI slots itself so it should be okay since the cooling on the video should naturally start ABOVE that.

I suppose it depends on the specific card too...

Card is hugeeeeeeeeeee, I had to take out all hard drives and bracket to be able to connect power cable. But the card is almost touching hard drive bracket. Btw I am talking about BFG 6800GT.

Ain't that the truth!!I I had to move one of my HDD's up a spot to fit my Gainward 6800GT. Still fit a little tight for my liking. I was worried it might disrupt the airflow in my case and raise my cpu temps (but it hasn't, wOOt :D ).

to get an evga 6800 gt to fit in a shuttle sff, i had to take the bracket off, install it, then install the card, then reattach the bracket to the card... feel sorry for the guy i built it for if he has to ever take it out.... Oh and had to take out the entire media harnesss to route the power cable over to the card as well.
