Will a 4GB GPU Make a Difference for Video Capturing Games

I'm going to be capturing video of games for my website using my new monster build that is complete minus the video card. I was wondering if going with a 4GB card would make a difference when capturing. I was going to get the Galaxy OC GC GTX 680 or MSI Lightning, which are two of the fastest cards available. But because I'm using 1920x1200 on my NEC PA24w (I'm not multi monitor gaming) any 680 with 2GB is more than sufficient. Would I be better off getting a 4GB card for my use case (game capture)?
 
The amount of VRAM shouldn't have any impact on capturing video. Just be sure you get a SSD to capture it to.
 
Nope. Although there are a few games out there that are approaching 2gb VRAM usage even on 1080p.
 
Thanks. That's perfect because I have 2 256 gb Samsung 830s in Raid 0. So I'll stick with the 2gb Galaxy OC gc or MSI Lightning.
