I am wondering if 8-pin will catch on for video cards PCI instead of the 6-pin. ATI HD 2900XT uses both but if you want to OC, you need the 8-pin. Will geforce model offer 8-pin in its next generation?

I am looking to buy a new PSU and not many good PSU have the 8-pin PCI yet just the Silverstone.

oh, you mean the pic-e power cord..

jesus, i though you ment that they came out with a PCI slot that was like the size of a usb port.

and for the power cord thing, who knows... but it really doesnt matter either because they package the cords you need with the videocard

Yes, the 8pin PCIE plug you will see on all the new next generation video cards unfortunatley.

One thing I just found it is the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W has a detachable 2pin on the pci-e, meaning it is 6+2 PCI-e (crossfire edition)
